Team Soul has decided to restructure its BGMI roster. This decision came after a series of underwhelming performances in major tournaments following the game's reinstatement this year. Team Soul's journey with its almost two-year-old BGMI lineup, comprising players Omega, Hector, Akshat, and Neyoo, has concluded, excluding Goblin who remains with the team.

Team Soul initially formed its promising lineup in early 2022, bringing onboard Omega and Akshat on January 13, followed by Hector and Goblin on March 4. This dynamic team quickly demonstrated their prowess, culminating in their victory at the BMPS 2022, the first major official tournament of BGMI.

Notably, Goblin emerged as a standout performer, earning six individual titles, including the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, a testament to his remarkable skills.

Their triumph in BMPS 2022 secured Team Soul a spot in the prestigious PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Main Event, where they achieved an 11th-place finish. The team also performed commendably in other tournaments, claiming sixth and seventh places in BGMS Season 1 and the BGMI Showdown, respectively.

However, the recent years witnessed a dip in their performance, marked by their inability to reach the Grand Finals of the India Series (BGIS) 2023 and BGMS Season 2, despite showing signs of improvement in other events like the Skyesports Championship 5.0 and BMPS 2023.

The departure of Omega, Hector, Akshat, and Neyoo marks a significant turning point for Team Soul. Omega announced the split through his YouTube channel, revealing that the entire departing lineup, including coach Amit Dubey, plans to stick together.

As Team Soul embarks on this new journey, they are gearing up to unveil their revamped roster for the 2024 season. Their primary goal remains clear - to clinch an official trophy and reclaim their top spot in the competitive BGMI landscape.
