“We know that gamers in India are excited to get their hands on PS5. Availability in each country is subject to, amongst other things, local import regulations, and our local teams are working through the logistics. We will share an update on launch date for India as more information becomes available,” added Sony in a statement.
After multiple delays and several issues, Sony has finally revealed pricing for the Indian region but a firm word on the launch date is still awaited. Sony has cited the reason to be “local import regulations” for the delay. The other day it was reported that Sony accidentally updated their website with a November 19 release date but shortly the website was reverted back. The date isn’t confirmed by Sony either but more or less the console should meet a November release.
If you’re looking where to go to book a PS5 for yourself once the word is out, there are 6 stores where you can - GamesTheShop, Amazon India, Flipkart, ShopAtSC, Croma, and Reliance Digital.
