Ninjas in Pyjamas announce signing of Device from Astralis
After 5 long years.

Nicolai "device" Reedtz is one of the prominent names of competitive CS:GO. The Danish is a four-time Major Champion and now he has moved on to Ninjas in Pyjamas after five years with Astralis. Device is signed on a three-year contract with the organisation and will be replacing Tim "nawwk" Jonasson who is now sent to the transfer desk.

Astralis was created in January 2016 and device was one of the founding members. He played the AWPer part for the team and the organisation went on to become one of the most dominant forces to ever exist in CS:GO history.
"Leaving Astralis is tough, to say the least," device said in a press release. "The boys will always be like family to me, but this Covid era has left me thinking a lot; where do I see myself when it all goes back to normal?
"I’ve lived in Sweden for some time now, speaking the language, and I’m really hyped about this young and exciting NIP project. To join one of the most successful organizations, where so many legends have played, inspires me."

Changes at Astralis were expected after the team performing sloppy in recent times but nobody had thought that it will be Device who will be departing. This will be the first time in 8-long-years that device wouldn't be playing with Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth and Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rasmussen.
NIP and Device now together look forward to the coming CS:GO Major, which will be hosted in the homelands at Stockholm, Sweden.
Device will debut wearing NIP colours at the upcoming Flashpoints 3 tournament.
