The Esports Awards are committed to recognising top-tier talent and innovation from all facets of the industry throughout the year, and their end-of-year gala is regarded as the Oscars of esports.


Anyone who is familiar with gaming in India is likely to have heard about Naman "MortaL" Mathur. He is one of the most popular gaming celebrities. In the past, MortaL has already been in the Esports Awards for the 'Streamer of the Year' category for two consecutive years where he finished second both the times. However, this time again he has again made it through, but for the 'Esports Personality of the Year' title.

Esports Awards 2022:

MortaL will be vying for the title alongside other well-known personalities from around the world, such as S1mple, Gaules, FAKER, Goldenboy, Hecz, NOBRU, Nadeshot, and others.

This year's nominee for Content Group of the Year is S8ul, a gaming firm created by the merger of SouL and 8bit. S8ul is currently the home for some of the top Indian game content creators including Payal Gaming, Krutiya, and Kaashvi. The following are some of the other big names who have nominated in this category: Team Summertime, Offline TV, Full Squad Gaming, 100 Thieves, Faze Clan, Loud, One True King, G4TV, Tribo Gaules, and Faze Clan.

The Esports Awards will be held on December 13th, 2022, at Resorts World in Las Vegas. Voters can cast their ballots at https://esportsawards.com/vote/.
