LoL: Three years later former World Champion CuVee is yet to receive his share of Samsung skins from Riot
Riot needs to clear the World Champion.
Former Samsung World Champion CuVee stated in a recent Livestream that he and others have not received their shares from Samsung 2017 skin sales.
Further, CuVee added that the other players who made region switch like Lee “Crown” Min-ho received their share of the sale whereas the ones still in Korea haven’t received.
According to CuVee, SSG 2017 still haven’t received their cut from the sale of their World’s skins.— Sher ʕ•̫͡•ʔ (@gzeebee) September 16, 2020
He said that the players who were in America (CoreJJ/Crown) have gotten their share, but not the others.

In 2017, Riot started sharing World Champion skins sales with teams. Hanwha Life Esports’ Player CuVee and Rule from Gen.G are yet to receive their share post World Championship win in 2017 which was under the Samsung banner.
There’s a possibility of the reason behind such delay is because of the initial organisation Samsung Galaxy disbanded back in 2017 itself. The disbanding took place right after winning the second League of Legends World Championship in the favour of the organisation. They were replaced by a Chinese organisation, KSV eSports, which were renamed to Gen.G after one split.
