Logitech G and partners to host an Esports tournament for Disabled Gamers
The first tournament will take place in the Fall of 2021 and is a 2v2 single-elimination Rocket League tournament.
Only in the course of 2020, Logitech took the initiative to host the first-ever esports tournament for disabled participants called Adaptive Esports Invitational. However, that was an invite-only event featuring the game Rocket League.
This time around, Logitech is bringing back the initiative and is expanding it public in selected regions. The event is organised in collaboration with AbleGamers, a nonprofit organisation devoted to making video games more available to people with disabilities.
The other two partners are - Adaptive Action Sports, a non-profit company that provides action sports services and instruction for individuals with disabilities, while Mount Sinai is a specialist organisation headquartered in New York that develops adaptive technologies for people in need.
According to Logitech, "The first tournament will take place in Fall of 2021 and is a 2v2 single-elimination Rocket League tournament, with Logitech G gear and bragging rights on the line."
Disable players who wish to participate can do so by heading over to the Registration Link.
