League of Legends: Wild Rift closed beta will resume from October 8th in the existing countries with two more countries which means more players, Riot Games announced today.

Currently, there are five countries involved in the closed beta testing – Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia. Riot Games today announced that they will be expanding the closed beta to South Korea and Japan.

This expansion makes sense as there’s a massive fan base of the League of Legends franchise and these countries are relatively close to the currently closed beta participants. The closed beta will be available for a few weeks adding pre-selected waves of players to the closed beta. Riot Games are prioritizing stability before expanding to more regions.

So, to get an invite you will have to pre-register for the closed beta. Right now it's available only for android devices, you register via Google Play Store. More regions for the closed beta will be added later on.

Minimum requirements to play the League of Legends: Wild Rift closed beta are:

Android:

CPU: 4 Core, 1.5 GHz and above (32 bit or 64 bit)

Ram: Minimum 1.5GB

Resolution: 1280x720

On the website, they have mentioned iPhone 7 in the list of iOS devices however it's unclear whether iOS device players will get an invite. iOS users can register on the official Wild Rift website. Earlier, Riot Games hinted that small testing phase was conducted with a few players receiving an invite.
