The partnership will focus to make ”affordable gaming furniture" accessories a reality and it claims to be releasing ”about 30 products” in China from Feb 2021. They will start pushing out to other regions by October 2021.

The gaming furniture will be developed by IKEA Product Development Center in Shangai with a focus of taking ”the comfort of gaming experience to a higher level”. IKEA’s designers held workshops with ROG designers along with professional gamers on this project to make the best possible home gaming furniture.

"ROG is thrilled to be partnering with Ikea to create the ultimate gaming lifestyle for gamers," added the general manager of Asus Gaming Gear, Kris Huang.

"Gamers have always dreamed of the perfect gaming space that is both comfortably functional and enables full immersion in games. Together with Ikea as an expert in home furnishing, we envision that this collaboration will create synergies that empower gamers to build the gaming space they have always imagined in the comfort of their own homes."

We will be excited to see in 2021 when this collaboration goes live as IKEA stated, they see gaming as ”cross-demographic”.
