Hyderabad-based esports organisation now boasts a reach of over 5 million.

India's first city-based Esports Franchise team Hyderabad Hydras has welcomed three new Content Creators to extend their set of in-house talents. GW Manish, one of India's most popular creators with 4 million followers, Melody gamer, with 450k followers, and Police gamer, with 100K followers, are the three new additions.

Hyderabad Hydras now has a reach of over 5 million people and will focus on creating viral-worthy original content as a result of the new additions.

Speaking on the occasion, Aashwij Ravula, CEO of Hyderabad Hydras said, "This is only the start; we aim to take esports to a whole new level in India and provide the city of Hyderabad with a slew of esports tournaments and a library of entertaining unique esports content via our efforts." 

It also has seen success in the professional esports circuit, with the prominent team Total Gaming finishing fourth in the ESPL 2021 season under the name of Hyderabad Hydras. They also won the Pride Invitational competition and finished third in India Today's Dangal. Furthermore, the Hyderabad Hydras BGMI squad, which is made up of former Tamil Tamilas players, finished sixth in the coveted Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, BGMI's first official tournament.

The press release also mentions that a slew of projects are in the works for the next months, the details of which will be revealed at a later date.
