Orangutan Esports, a well-known Indian organisation, made a startling announcement by revealing their official Valorant roster for regional competitions and VCT 2023. The lineup includes a new Southeast Asian player as well as four former Enigma Gaming athletes.

The new international roster includes a diverse group of players from India and the Philippines, including two young Filipino additions, JM "Tesseract" Ignacio and Azis "Aziz" Nandang, as well as local veterans like Sabyasachi "Antidote" Bose, Akram "Raufiul" Virani, and Rishi "RVK" Vijayakumar.

The adjustment follows a challenging season in which the company failed to leave a lasting impression. "The time has finally come, after almost a year of ups and downs, we are finally ready to fight back,” Orangutan said in the announcement.

The 2023 VCT Orangutan Gaming Roster field as follows:

  • Sabyasachi “Antidote” Bose – (In Game Leader)
  • Akram “Rawfiul” Virani
  • Rishi “RvK” Vijayakumar
  • Jm “tesseract” Ignacio
  • Azis “azys” Nandang

Azys is the newest surprise and a highly potential addition. He was a key player for his previous team, South Build Esports, a renowned Southeast Asian esports organisation. With his extensive experience from competing in the APAC and VCT circuits, he also brings a plethora of knowledge to the table. Veterans of Enigma Gaming who said farewell to the organization in December are among the other four.

Orangutan Gaming is undoubtedly looking forward to creating a mark in VALORANT Esports with such an accomplished squad and a powerhouse under its belt.
