After defeating SCARZ 3-0 in the Grand Finals, Bleed Esports won the inaugural VCT Ascension Pacific 2023, cementing history.

Ten regional teams from Japan, Korea, Oceania, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia & Singapore, Taiwan & Hong Kong, and South Asia competed against one another from June 28 to July 9, with the winner taking home a prize pool of $100,000.

From July 7–9, Bleed Esports, Bonkers, NAOS Esports, SCARZ, BOOM Esports, and Fancy United Esports battled on LAN for the first time in front of a live audience at QSNCC in Bangkok. Only six teams advanced to the Playoffs stage. After several exhausting days of play, Bleed Esports and SCARZ squared off in the Grand Finals. Bleed Esports prevailed and became the first team to hoist the VCT Ascension Pacific trophy.

Throughout the length of the competition, VCT Ascension Pacific 2023 was completely sold out. Nearly 5,000 fans attended the event in person and enjoyed a variety of activities, including fan meet-and-greets, influencer sightings, game demo stations, and more.
