Apex Legends Mobile to get a soft launch soon; releases on Switch on Mar. 9th
The Nintendo Switch version of Apex Legends will support cross-platform play.
One of the famous Battle Royale game for PC, Apex Legends, will be finally releasing the mobile version of the game very soon. Originally, tipped by Electronic Arts (EA) since May 2019 but never met a firm word of release.
However, EA has finally confirmed that Apex Legends Mobile releases in the third quarter of 2021. The game is getting a soft launch in the coming 3-4 months, meaning it could be enjoyable very soon by May/June before the final release. Reports add to that, the soft launch will happen in China first and then will be slowly rolled out across the world.

Apart from this, Apex Legends is also witnessing an official Nintendo Switch release on 9th of March, 2021. The new season within Apex Legends has already commenced and Switch users will receive 30 free levels of the Season 8 Battle Pass to pace-up with the current timeline of the Pass.
The Switch version of the game that is releasing in the coming month will support “cross-platform play", said Chad Grenier, Game Director at Respawn Entertainment - Head of Apex Legends. "our latest seasonal content, and full feature parity with the other versions of the game.”
Apex Legends is already available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One since February 2019. It garnered 2.5 million players in no time after the release. With EA invading the mobile territory with Apex Legends Mobile it will be interesting to see how it pans out as this particular segment is already ruled at the likes of some big giants such as Garena Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, and Call of Duty: Mobile.
