Apex Legends Mobile beta was launched in India and the Philippines last year with pre-registrations, and it was then expanded to other nations in February of this year. The game has now finally been released all across the world, including in India. The mobile version of the strategic battle royale shooter game will be set in the Apex Legends Universe and will have Legends as well, but it will be a separate game with no cross-play between the PC and mobile versions. According to EA, the game's mobile edition will incorporate streamlined controls for touchscreens, as well as an experience tailored to mobile devices.

The developers stated: “Apex Legends has been designed explicitly for mobile, with streamlined controls and thoughtful optimizations that result in one of the most advanced battle royale combat games available for a tablet or phone.”
